This resource sets out CorayNova Academic Press's publisher-level standards for serious proposals to launch, transfer, relaunch, host, or cooperate on journals with CorayNova.

CorayNova welcomes serious journal proposals that advance responsible scholarly communication, transparent publishing, editorial independence, research integrity, and sustainable journal development.

Proposals may come from scholarly societies, universities, research institutes, research centres, academic groups, Editor-in-Chief candidates, institutional partners, existing journal owners, and emerging-field research communities. Individual scholars and small editorial teams may also submit proposals when they can demonstrate scholarly need, editorial capacity, sustainability, and manageable conflicts of interest.

· Who May Propose or Cooperate

A journal proposal should be led by people or organizations with credible academic purpose, editorial capability, and a realistic plan for sustainable operation. CorayNova may request additional information about the proposing party, editorial leadership, institutional support, society governance, ownership, funding, and conflict-of-interest controls before considering a proposal.

Scholarly societies	Society mission, field need, governance structure, editorial leadership, membership or community relevance, and sustainable cooperation plan.
Universities, research institutes, and research centres	Institutional rationale, field fit, responsible contact route, editorial independence safeguards, and operational support model.
Academic groups and emerging-field communities	Scholarly need, differentiated scope, credible editorial network, potential readership, and realistic manuscript development plan.
Editor-in-Chief candidates	Academic expertise, leadership experience, proposed editorial model, conflict-of-interest disclosure, and plan for building a qualified editorial board.
Existing journal owners	Current journal status, ownership and rights position, publication history, editorial records where available, transfer or relaunch rationale, and continuity needs.
Individual scholars or small editorial teams	Scholarly need, editorial capacity, sustainability plan, conflicts management, and evidence that the proposal is not dependent on one person's private interest.

 

· Possible Cooperation Types

CorayNova may consider several forms of journal cooperation. The appropriate model depends on scholarly need, governance, ownership, editorial capacity, platform requirements, funding, access model, preservation needs, and agreement terms.

New journal launch	Creation of a new journal with a defined scope, editorial governance model, author information, peer review model, platform setup, and launch readiness review.
Journal transfer	Movement of an existing journal to CorayNova, subject to ownership, rights, record continuity, metadata, platform, editorial, and preservation review.
Journal relaunch	Responsible redevelopment of an existing or inactive journal with revised scope, governance, policies, editorial board, workflow, and public information.
Society journal partnership	Cooperation with a scholarly society while preserving editorial independence, publication ethics, transparent policies, and clear responsibility boundaries.
Institutional journal partnership	Cooperation with a university, institute, centre, or research office where institutional support does not influence editorial decisions.
Hosted journal cooperation	Use of the CorayNova Journals Platform and related support under agreed governance, technical, policy, and quality requirements.
Special-field journal development	Development of a journal for an emerging or underserved field where scope, community need, editorial capacity, and sustainability are demonstrable.

 

· Core Boundaries

Proposal submission does not guarantee acceptance, public launch, indexing, third-party database coverage, Impact Factor, membership in any external organization, revenue, manuscript volume, publication volume, fixed review time, or a fixed launch date.

CorayNova may decline a proposal because of scope overlap, insufficient scholarly need, insufficient editorial team capacity, ethics risk, quality risk, sustainability concerns, policy inconsistency, ownership or rights uncertainty, platform limitations, or reputational and brand risk.

CorayNova-owned journals operate fully open access. Partner journals, special publishing arrangements, and future journals may use access models identified in the relevant agreement and on the journal and article pages, including open access, hybrid, or subscription arrangements where approved.
