This resource establishes CorayNova Academic Press's reader-facing standards for citing CorayNova articles accurately.

Accurate citation helps readers locate the Version of Record, distinguish article versions and post-publication notices, preserve attribution, and support the reliability of the scholarly record.

· Core Citation Standard

Readers should cite the Version of Record whenever possible. The Version of Record is the final published version made available by the journal after editorial acceptance, production, and publication.

A complete citation should include the author(s), year, article title, journal title, volume and issue where available, article number or page range, DOI, and version or update information where relevant.

DOIs should be written in the link format https://doi.org/... where possible.

Identify the credited author or author group exactly as shown on the article page.

Year

Use the publication year shown by the journal, or the relevant year for a notice or updated version.

Article title

Use the full article title as published.

Journal title

Use the journal title shown on the article page.

Volume and issue where available

Include volume, issue, special issue, or collection information when shown.

Article number or page range

Use article number, e-location ID, or page range where available.

DOI

Include the DOI in https://doi.org/... format where possible.

Version or update information

Identify corrections, retractions, expressions of concern, editorial notes, publisher's notes, or updated article versions where relevant.

· Citing Post-Publication Notices

When citing a correction, retraction notice, expression of concern, editorial note, publisher's note, or updated article, readers must accurately identify the document or version being cited.

Readers should not cite or share a correction, retraction, expression of concern, or updated notice in isolation when the meaning depends on the original article and related notice. The original article and the notice should be read together.

Cite the final published article and include the DOI.

Correction

Identify the item as a correction and cite both the correction and the original article where relevant.

Retraction notice

Identify the item as a retraction notice and avoid citing the original article as reliable unless discussing the retraction context.

Expression of Concern

Identify the item as an expression of concern and read it together with the article.

Editorial Note or Publisher's Note

Identify the note type and explain the context where relevant.

Updated article

Include version or update information where the article page provides it.

· Reader Responsibilities

· Check the article page for the DOI, license, publication date, and post-publication notices before citing.

· Use the citation style required by the reader's journal, institution, funder, publisher, or discipline.

· Do not remove DOI, version, update, correction, or retraction information from a citation when that information is relevant.

· Do not cite a withdrawn, retracted, or corrected article in a way that misrepresents its status.
