Reporting a Concern

Navigation: Resources > For Readers > Reporting a Concern

This resource establishes CorayNova Academic Press's reader-facing standards for reporting concerns about articles, publication ethics, permissions, post-publication records, or platform issues.

CorayNova takes reader concerns seriously. Submitting a concern does not guarantee a specific outcome, such as correction, retraction, article removal, public notice, or a particular editorial action.

· Information to Include

Readers should provide complete information so that CorayNova can identify the article, understand the concern, preserve confidentiality where needed, and route the matter appropriately.

Complete information normally includes the article title, journal title, DOI or URL, concern type, specific location, brief explanation, evidence or relevant files where available, and a contact email.

Allows the Editorial Office to locate the exact article page or file.
Concern type
Helps route the matter to content, ethics, permission, post-publication, or technical handling.

· How CorayNova Handles Concerns

Concerns are assessed according to the nature of the issue, available evidence, journal records, publication ethics requirements, legal obligations, privacy considerations, and the scholarly record.

CorayNova may request additional information, review article files, consult editors or subject experts, contact authors, seek documentation, issue a correction or notice, take no action, or use another appropriate process depending on the concern.

Serious institutional-level matters may be escalated to executive@coraynova.com. External contact with institutions, funders, authorities, or third parties is handled by the Editorial Office or publisher-level route, not by individual readers acting on behalf of CorayNova.

· Reader Conduct When Reporting

- Report concerns privately and factually.

- Do not make public allegations before the matter has been responsibly assessed.

- Do not contact authors, institutions, funders, media, or third parties as if acting for CorayNova.

- Do not submit false, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, or bad-faith concerns.

- Do not upload confidential files, personal data, or copyrighted materials unless they are necessary and appropriate for the concern.
