Author Forms and Checklists

Navigation: Resources > Forms, Templates & Checklists > Author Forms and Checklists

This resource sets out CorayNova Academic Press's publisher-level framework for author forms, declarations, examples, and submission checklists used across CorayNova journals.

CorayNova recommends and requires journals to use this framework as the publisher-level standard reference when developing journal-level author forms and checklists. Individual journals may add discipline-specific, article-type-specific, funder-specific, ethical, technical, or workflow requirements on the relevant journal page of the CorayNova Journals Platform.

Authors should prepare accurate forms and declarations before submission. Complete and truthful declarations support editorial assessment, responsible peer review, research integrity, open access compliance, appropriate licensing, and protection against avoidable permission or publication ethics problems.

· Available Author Forms and Checklists

The following author forms and checklists should be used when preparing a manuscript for a CorayNova journal. Journal-specific instructions may require additional declarations, file formats, word limits, reporting standards, supplementary files, or article-type requirements.

Where requested by the journal.

· Core Author Declarations

Author declarations should be complete, consistent with the manuscript, and updated if circumstances change during peer review, revision, production, or post-publication handling. The corresponding author is responsible for confirming that all authors have provided complete and accurate information for the declarations submitted with the manuscript.

CorayNova strongly recommends that all submissions include a funding statement or a statement that no funding was received. CorayNova also strongly recommends that research manuscripts include a Data Availability Statement, even when data cannot be shared publicly. Each journal determines the specific data statement requirements and the review process for its field and article types.

Research involving human participants, animals, personal data, surveys, interviews, questionnaires, clinical information, identifiable images, biological materials, or comparable ethical oversight must include an Ethics Approval Statement. If ethics approval is not applicable, authors should state not applicable and follow any journal-specific instructions.

Authors must disclose use of generative AI or AI-assisted tools in writing, translation, image preparation, data analysis, code generation, literature organization, or other manuscript-related work where such use is relevant to the submitted work. AI cannot be listed as an author because authorship requires accountability, responsibility, and approval of the final work.
