This policy sets out CorayNova Academic Press's standards for copyright, publication licenses, Creative Commons licenses, permissions, third-party material, reuse, author rights, and self-archiving.

• Scope

This policy applies to articles, article metadata, abstracts, figures, tables, supplementary materials, journal pages, PDF or HTML versions where available, author agreements, license statements, permissions requests, and reuse of CorayNova-published material.

• Who This Policy Applies To

This policy applies to authors, readers, libraries, repositories, institutions, funders, societies, editors, reviewers, third-party rights holders, and anyone seeking to reuse CorayNova content.

• Policy Statement

CorayNova uses Creative Commons licenses for CorayNova journal articles. The specific license type is determined by the journal and article page, and may vary by journal, article type, agreement, or publication arrangement.

For CorayNova-owned journals, CorayNova calls for the best practice of authors retaining copyright and granting CorayNova a license to publish. Exceptions may apply where clearly disclosed on the journal or article page. Partner journals may use copyright arrangements set out in agreements and journal pages, but such arrangements must be transparent, consistent, and not misleading.

• Procedures and Standards

License display	Each article page should clearly display the applicable Creative Commons license or other license statement.
Author rights	Author rights should be described consistently in journal policies, article pages, author agreements, PDF/HTML versions where available, and metadata.
Third-party material	Authors are responsible for obtaining necessary permission for third-party images, tables, maps, scales, questionnaires, long text excerpts, datasets, software, code, or previously published material before submission where needed.
Reuse by readers	Readers may reuse published content according to the license displayed on the article page, provided attribution, title, journal, DOI, copyright/license notice, and integrity of the work are preserved.
Endorsement	Reuse must not imply that CorayNova, the journal, editors, or authors endorse a third-party product, service, institution, claim, or viewpoint unless written permission has been granted.
Self-archiving	The availability of Version of Record, accepted manuscript, and preprint deposit depends on article license and journal policy. Authors and repositories should prioritize linking to the DOI and article landing page.

Permission and reuse questions should be assessed according to article license, copyright status, author agreement, third-party material status, journal policy, funder requirements, repository requirements, and applicable law.

CorayNova may request correction, removal, updated attribution, or other appropriate action where reuse misrepresents the article, removes license information, removes DOI information, infringes third-party rights, or creates misleading endorsement.
