This policy sets out CorayNova Academic Press's standards for personal data, platform accounts, manuscript workflow data, reviewer and editor data, reader and subscriber data, complaint records, institutional contact data, cookies, analytics, payment and invoice data where applicable, third-party service providers, security, user rights, and website terms.

• Scope

This policy applies to the CorayNova website, the CorayNova Journals Platform, journal pages, submission and peer review workflows, article records, user accounts, contact forms, email communications, payment and invoice processes where applicable, website visits, cookies, and platform support interactions.

• Who This Policy Applies To

This policy applies to authors, reviewers, editors, editorial board members, readers, subscribers, website visitors, submitters, complainants, institutional contacts, society contacts, proposal teams, service providers, and CorayNova staff or representatives.

• Policy Statement

CorayNova handles personal data for legitimate scholarly publishing, editorial, platform, communication, legal, financial, security, and operational purposes. CorayNova seeks to collect data proportionately, use data responsibly, protect confidentiality, limit access to people with legitimate need, and maintain appropriate records for publishing and accountability.

Where CorayNova journals or services use cookies, analytics, payment processors, email tools, hosting/CDN/security tools, or third-party form services, the relevant journal, website, or workflow should disclose the use of those services as appropriate.

Complaint and concern data
Used for assessment, evidence review, confidentiality management, policy handling, legal or ethics review, and record keeping.
Payment and invoice data
Used for APCs, refunds, invoices, taxes, institutional payments, and financial records where applicable.
Cookies and analytics
May be used for website operation, security, performance, analytics, preferences, and service improvement where configured and disclosed.
Third-party service providers
May include hosting, CDN, security, payment, email, analytics, form, metadata, DOI, preservation, or platform service providers where used.
User responsibilities
Users must not misuse the website or platform, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt services, upload unlawful material, or infringe rights.

Personal data may be retained according to journal workflow, publisher requirements, legal obligations, operational needs, research integrity needs, financial requirements, preservation responsibilities, and dispute or complaint handling needs.

Users may contact CorayNova to request access, correction, clarification, or other privacy-related action. CorayNova may need to verify identity, authority, or relationship to the relevant record before taking action.
