This policy sets out CorayNova Academic Press's standards for maintaining the scholarly record after publication through corrections, retractions, expressions of concern, publisher's notes, editorial notes, and article removal in exceptional circumstances.

• Scope

This policy applies to published articles, article metadata, supplementary materials, correction notices, retraction notices, expressions of concern, publisher's notes, editorial notes, article removal decisions, and post-publication communications for CorayNova journals.

• Who This Policy Applies To

This policy applies to authors, editors, reviewers, readers, institutions, funders, libraries, repositories, indexing services where applicable, rights holders, and CorayNova publisher-level offices.

• Policy Statement

CorayNova seeks to preserve the scholarly record while correcting the record when reliable concerns, errors, ethics issues, legal concerns, privacy concerns, safety issues, or integrity problems require action.

Post-publication actions should be proportionate, transparent, clearly labeled, linked to the article record where possible, and reflected in metadata where applicable. Retraction is not intended to punish authors; it is used to protect the reliability of the scholarly record.

• Procedures and Standards

Term	Meaning
Correction	A notice or update that corrects an error that does not invalidate the overall reliability of the article.
Retraction	A notice that identifies an article as unreliable or affected by serious ethical, legal, authorship, data, image, peer review, or publication integrity concerns.
Expression of Concern	A notice used when there is a serious unresolved concern and readers should be alerted while assessment or investigation continues.
Publisher's Note	A publisher-level notice that clarifies production, platform, metadata, licensing, access, or publisher handling matters.
Editorial Note	An editorial notice that clarifies editorial context, updates, or interpretation of the publication record.
Article Removal	Exceptional removal of article content, used only for legal, privacy, safety, or comparable severe risk reasons.

Retraction records should normally remain publicly available and clearly identify the retracted status and reason. Article Removal should be rare and limited to legal, privacy, safety, or comparable severe risk circumstances.

Corrections, retractions, expressions of concern, publisher's notes, editorial notes, and article removal notices should link to the article DOI, article landing page, metadata, and related notices where possible. Metadata should be updated where feasible and appropriate.

Readers should consider the original article and any related notice together. Authors, readers, editors, or institutions who identify a possible error or concern should report it privately through the appropriate contact route.
